When your Linux/Windows PC or Laptop arrives at our shop we will
diagnose the problem and call you with an estimate within 1-3 Business days.
After estimate approval from the customer we will repair all defects/problems
and return it repaired in the same box unless otherwise notified. We will
back our repair work with a 30 day Warranty on labor. New parts carry a 60
day, refurbished parts carry 30 day warranty.

IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT MALWARE REMOVAL!
We charge a rate of $55.00 per hour, for
a maximum of 3 hours, to remove malware. Malware
includes viruses and spyware, as well as programs that exhibit these
characteristics. In MOST cases, malware removal can be completed in one hour.
However, severely infected systems may take significantly longer, in some
cases 6 hours and more. We do
have a hard cap of 3 hours for the purposes of charging a fee. In other words,
the total you will be charged is $165. Our price is fair and it is the best
in the business. Malware removal is a non-exact
science, and therefore we can make no guarantees that your system will not
be reinfected after it has left our property – especially if you have
other computers on a home network that your computer connects to. There are
a number of steps that an end user is encouraged to perform – the
installation of a GOOD antivirus program, and a good Antispyware program,
is an absolute must – to safeguard against reinfection. There are a
number of resources a user has access to regarding malware prevention –
Grisoft and Google are two good resources. Due to the nature of a malware
infection, there might be damaged system files and data loss. J & S
Computers, cannot be held responsible for any resulting loss of data. In
the event of operating system corruption, we will reinstall your operating
system provided that 1: You provide us a legitimate, genuine license
(also called a Certificate of Authenticity) that contains the product
Installation Key (xxxxx-11111-xxxxx-11111-xxxxx format), and 2: You
provide us with the media that matches the license (OEM Windows CD, system
recovery CD etc). Photocopied or printed COA labels are not legitimate
or genuine and cannot be used. In the event you do not have a genuine copy
of the operating system software, we will be happy to provide one at the
current price for that version of the operating system. OS Reinstallation
does not cost extra – it is provided as a part of the malware removal
service. Software reinstallation, other than Operating System, is charged
the rate of $49/hr, and has the same requirements for licensing as Operating
System software as above. This cost is in addition to the cost of malware
removal.
